Use this .csd file to implement California Teale Albers in both the NAD27 and NAD83 datums within Trimble Pathfinder Office software. The file was created with Pathfinder Office 2.1 and should be compatible with later versions.

Implementation Steps:

1. Within Pathfinder Office, open the Coordinate System Manager (from a location such as Utilities Menu - Other - Coordinate System Manager...). Within the Coordinate System Manger use File Menu - Open and then browse and select the .csd file. If prompted to Upgrade the Database, select Yes and then Confirm the Upgrade. California Teale Albers should now appear as a Coordinate System Group containing NAD27 and NAD83 versions of the projection/coordinate system. This implementation is only for the current Pathfinder Office session.

2. For permanent implementation, first make a backup copy of the file called "Current.csd", usually stored in a location such as: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\GeoData\Current.csd. Then, complete Step 1, and within the Coordinate System Manger, select File Menu - Save As... then browse and select the Current.csd file at the path indicated above and click Save. California Teale Albers is now permanently saved for later Pathfinder Office sessions.
